Wai Wai World 2: SOS Parsely Shiru

One day, the mysterious wizard Warumon used his power to take control of the Konami Universe. Fortunately, Dr. Cinnamon was out and thus wasn't affected. To thwart the evil wizard, Dr. Cinnamon sends out his latest creation, Super Robot Rikkuru, to defeat Warumon.

Fearing Rikkuru, Warumon takes Princess Herb hostage. Then, using his power, Warumon sends Parsley Castle into space and makes it into his hideout. Furthermore, Warumon revives the fallen villains of the Konami Universe to serve as his army to combat Rikkuru! Fortunately, Rikkuru won't handle this threat alone, as Dr. Cinnamon also enlists a crack team of Konami Universe Heroes to help in this mission.

Playable Characters
Rikkuru The super robot built by Dr. Cinnamon. He was sent to go after Warumon after Warumon had kidnapped Princess Herb and overtaken Parsley Castle. Attack: A short-range wave attack. It isn't all that powerful, but you can shoot them quickly. They can also break away certain blocks in the Underworld stages.
Blue Rikkuru A mirror image of Rikkuru. Also like Rikkuru, he was sent to rescue Princess Herb from Warumon. His appearance is sidelined in the plot, as he is only available in 2 player mode. Call it "Luigi Syndrome" Attack: A short-range wave attack. It isn't all that powerful, but you can shoot them quickly. They can also break away certain blocks in the Underworld stages.
Ishikawa Goemon In a Feudal Japan, Goemon's a chivalrous thief who fights all villians who dare to abuse the populace. From Ganbare Goemon Attack: Kiseru Boomerang: Taken from the Goemon Story RPG games, the Kiseru will fly a set distance, then return to the user. Two can be thrown at a time.
Simon Belmont Of the Belmont Clan of Vampire Slayers, Simon has quested more than once to stop the forces of Dracula. From Castlevania Attack: Vampire Killer, Simon's trusty whip. It is a strong weapon, but is slow in speed. It can also clear away blocks in the Underworld stages.
Fumma The youngest of a family of demon slayers. In order to stop the evil ambitions of the Dragon King and to avenge his fallen brothers, Fumma has journied to the Underworld to defeat him and his army of demons. From Getsufuu Maden Attack: Hadoken, the demon-slaying sword, has very short range, but is easily the most powerful weapon in the game. It can also clear away blocks in the Underworld stages.
Bill Rizer One of two Special Forces Elite Commando Squad memebers who were sent to handle the threat of a world takeover. Blasting his way through the jungles, he has fought the forces of the alien Red Falcon. From Contra Attack: Rifle: Although the weakest weapon of the game, it has by far the longest range. It also the only weapon that can be fired straight up. One shot can be on screen at any time.
Upa In a world of sweets, this miraculous baby had taken upon himself to restore the happiness by freeing the fairies. From Bio-Miracle Bokutte Upa. Attack: Rattle: this rattle will turn enemies into clouds that Upa can stand on. When a cloud hits the ceiling, Upa can pick them up to score angels. It also allows Upa access to items in special blocks.

At game start, you will be allowed to choose between 4 teams, each made up of a different combination of Konami Heroes, after you select your team, you are on your way. Simply progress through the stages and defeat stage boss to progress stages. Picking up the Character Change will allow you to use a Konami Hero in Rikkuru's place for a set time. Any damage incured will reduce the time for the character to remain in play. Likewise, health items will add time to the counter.

At certain juntions, you will be given a choice of which stage you may tackle on. These junctions also introduce special stages in the game:

-Twinbee Shooter/Gradius Shooter:

Both of these are simple enought. Shoot your way throught various enemies and collect power-ups to increase your power.

-Go Mach Rider:

A high speed racing challange. Defeat your opposition by pushing your foes into the walls.

-Puzzle World:

Reasemble the image before time runs out! Be sure to keep your eye on Konami Girl and not let the train get to her while you are at it.

-Path to the Castle (The Frogger Simulation):

Rush Rikkuru through the heavy traffic and pitfalls to into the castle!

Item List
	CHARACTER CHANGE: The key item of this game. With it you will be able to interchange Rikkuru with any of three Konami Heroes for 60 seconds.
	PACKAGE: This floating container contains a Character Change! Attack it to get its contents.
	FIRST AID: As you can guess, it will restore your life energy. It restores 4 hearts for Rikkuru and 20 seconds for Konami Heroes.
	CHEST: Attack this item to reveal a First Aid Kit
	BADGE: Grabbing this star shaped item gives you temporary invincibility
	HYPER ATTACK: This item will give you a special attack that will hurt all that is on screen. Hold B until you are flashing quickly to execute. You can only use this attack once per H you collect, and you can only carry one at a time.
	ANGEL: Collecting 10 of these will result in a 1-up. A flashing one is worth 5.
	BELL:The TwinBee power-up. The color of the Bell determines what abilities it will give you. You can change the Bell's color by shooting at it. Gold: points that can be traded in for 1-ups Blue: Speed up Pink: Barrier Flashing: Twin Options White: Double Shot
	CANDY:Twinbee's shot will be changed into a 3-way shot with this item
	STAR: This will destroy all enemies on screen
	FRUIT:This point item can be traded for 1-ups at the end of a stage.
	CUTTER: Mount these on the Mach racer and you can clear all bushes in your way
	MISSILE: With this item, the Mach racer will be able to shoot missiles
	CAPSULE: The Gradius power-up. You can trade in your capsules for various abilities. The ability that you get is determined by the number of capsules you have before use.
	CINNAMON: Collect this glowing head to get a 1-up!

General Tips
---Remember that every character is uniquely capable for handling different situations and areas. ---Try to use Konami Heroes as long as possible. As long as Rikkuru isn't on screen, you can't die! ---Optimize Konami Hero time by not using a Character Change icon until the time of your existing Konami Hero has ran out or before you pick up another character change icon.	---Both Vic Viper and Twinbee start out slow, thus making it difficult to avoid danager. It is best to get a speed-up power-up as soon as possible to remedy this. ---Vic Viper has legs!?! This is good news for players, as this means you can maneuver Vic right into the floor, and his legs will cushion him from crashing.

The Second Wai Wai World Game does well to surpass its predecessor. Mixing SD graphics, various modes of game play, and a variety of different characters, it gives the player the feeling that they are truly playing a spectrum of Konami Games. Along with the standard platformer game base, players are given a taste of Gradius, Twinbee, and even a little bit of Frogger, among other games. With various character combinations to play the with, stages that branch into different pathways, and a password system that allows you access any stage, Wai Wai World 2 offers great replay value.

The only complaint made about this game is how amazingly easy the game is. Most people will be able to beat this game in one sitting. What made this game so easy was the character swap system. The benefit of swapping out Rikkuru is twofold, as you not only have an improved attack, but you can't take any damage. This, coupled with the wide availability of Character Change Icons, makes it almost possible to traverse the entire game without taking a hit.

As Wai Wai World goes, this adventure only contributes to Goemon's Story when Goemon is allowed to break "the thrid wall" (actuallizing he is a video game character) so don't worry about it fitting into any continum. It is funny to note that Ebisumaru makes a number of cameos in this game outside of his short appearance as a support character, as Ebisumaru-themed foes and statues can be found in various stages.
