The domain name expired back in January of 2003, as the MWSG was also closing down. At the time, no plans were made to maintain the domain name, as there weren't any plans yet set in motion to keep the site alive. Since that time, the domain name was purchased by a "cyber squater" (one who buy and holds domain names to sell for profit), who owns it to this day.

The problem with much of the content of the old MWG is that it was written in context from a non-Japanese speaking prospective. As covering Goemon pretty much mandate some level of Japanese fluency, there are mis-conceptions riddled into the old site. For this reason, most of the content from the MWSG has to be massively reworked before making it over to the new site.

This varies amazingly, with inspiration, material, and work ethic. Since this site is done completely based on the staff's free time, I can't give consistency on when updates are made. What you are looking at is a game that is part of the Goemon, the Next Generation Series. As the name suggests, The game is a generation after the original Goemon series. All the heros are new characters, designed to mirror the original series characters. you can learn more about this in the Series Information section.

The game you are referring to is called Bouken Katsugeki: Goemon. This game was slanted for an English port thought the company Working Designs. Unfortunately, the port was cancelled by Sony. You can learn more about this in the Goemon in Foreign Waters article.

The Ganbare Goemon Anime, The Legend of the Mystical Ninja is currently available is most major DVD outlets that carry Anime. If you are having trouble finding a copy in your area, I recommend that you search the net for an online retailer.

We here at the MWG do not support Piracy of Anime. Thus, even if we did know of where one can pirate a copy of the Anime (which we don't), we definitely wouldn't be sharing that information with you. If you want to watch the anime, you will have to purchase or Rent the DVD s just like everyone else.

Unfortunately, the Market for Goemon Merchandise is quite slim. The only place we can currently suggest are Online Auctions. You may be able to pick up a few treasures there if you are lucky enough to appear on there. Otherwise, we really can't help you much.

Unfortunately, the MWG doesn't support Goemon Music downloads currently. We do have plans in the future to provide this service, but it will be a while before they are available. In the meantime, the only option I can suggest to you is to try finding the music using a Peer to Peer file trading program like WinMX or Kazaa to find music.

No. Because of the legal waters ROMs constituted, the MWG cannot receive nor distribute ROMs.

We currently do not have a system to accept any contributions. We would very much appreciate if you hold on to your contribution until we over at the MWG get our act together and work out a system to receive contributions.

The MWG is a large site and we do need all the help we can get, but we will not be accepting any more staff members at this time.
